The UN Student Association Oslo is an independent irreligious bipartisan student association that serves as a platform for people who are interested in global issues that the UN deals with. The purpose is to engage people to have a voice.

If you want to be involved in our association you can either join our events as an audience or join in planning our events as an active member. There is a difference between active and passive members. Active members have to pay a membership fee of 50 NOK per semester. Active members get divided into project groups at the beginning of each fall semester in which they organize the events by deciding the speaker, which organization they want to partner up with, and the topic of the event. All the board members help to manage the project groups, and work as advisors. Active members also get to vote in the election of the board, which is held every fall at the beginning of the semester.

Passive members can participate in the events, but are neither put in project groups nor pay the membership fee.
